I love horses. I love San Juan Capistrano. I spend my days outdoors – teaching, riding and caring for horses in a town that embraces the equestrian life-style. I think that makes me the luckiest guy in the world.
Horses have been my passion since I first climbed on one at the old Smith Stables in Capistrano Beach. In the years since then, I’ve had the opportunity to ride some amazing horses and to learn all aspects of the business from some of the finest professional horse people on the West Coast. My program today is indebted to those many teachers, the two-legged and the four-legged ones. My goal is to provide the best possible training and care for the horses, while encouraging my riders to experience the same challenges and joy in the sport that I do.”
